For the Fallen Citizens of 2016

Tonight I weep

For the fallen 2

For the fallen 5

For the fallen 75—make that 83

Tonight I weep

For those who lost their lives for being who they are

For those who can't come home to their families anymore

Tonight I weep

For the young people who went to a nightclub to be free

For the black men who did nothing wrong and are still forced into a grave too soon

Tonight I weep

For the children who no longer have their mom, dad, sister, brother

For the policemen who stand to protect but instead gets gunned down from the skies

Tonight I weep

For France, this is not the 1st time for France but the second.

For all those bodies littered in the streets with blood stains still caressing their broken bodies

I can't weep

My eyes stay wet because I know there will be another, and another and another

This is the time to look at the skies

And pray

Pray for the fallen 2

For the fallen 5

For the fallen 75—make that 83

Pray for the children with no mother no father

If we don't then we will continue to weep
