To the boy who I thought was going to give me everything.

You asked me not to give up on you,

but it feels like you are the one giving up on me.

I tried. I gave it my all. But, I think it's time, time for me to go.

Honestly, I thought this time was going to be different. I thought this is what you wanted. I thought I was the one. The one to change your mind about life. The one to help you though life. The one to make you think that life was going to be okay. And the one to make all your worries go away. But here I am, yet again, wrong.

I saw you today. And you certainly saw me. You smiled at me, and said hello. Nothing. Nothing was there. I walked away.
