To have something you have wanted
but it slips away,
right out of your hands.
To watch him take those last steps
as he rides off into the dark to never return.
Tears stream down my face,
softly, loving siblings come to hug me
as pain runs through my heart.
The past days i lay at the top of my bed
looking out as the rain hits my window,
not knowing what to do
since all i ever knew is now gone

The time my sis and I saw aliens
When I was about 8-10 years old (I don't remember exactly), my sister and I were at a family party hosted by my uncle's parents. Being Mexican, our parties typically involved lots of relatives, their kids, and random friends, so there were probably 20-25 people there. The party was in my uncle's parents' driveway and front yard, with tables of food in the driveway and kids playing in the front yard where there was a bouncy house.

The Gen Z Entrepreneurial Revolution
It is hardly debatable that the world has always been run by a bunch of aging dinosaurs, mostly male, who refuse to allow the younger generation to bring about changes. Politicians and leaders everywhere refuse to release the reigns of creativity and leadership until they are dead or dying. It is time to give the young a chance to revolutionize and change the entire landscape of their existence. Those of us with one foot in the grave, so to speak, should wake up and realize that we are not the ones who will be living in the world in the years to come.
