To be me is harder than expected
It's complicated and volatile
It's quiet suffering gone undetected
To be me is to be an extra in your own story
I'm in every scene, but you'll never know my name
I'm there for it all though, The love, the pain, the glory
To be me is to fight
Because because I want to join the world
Because my ability to exist isn't a given right
To be me is to start over
Finally getting to see the light
Finally finding closure
To be me
It's to be you
It's to be human
Because I'm still figuring it out, how to be me
