To Be a Fool

For you to feel as you feel right

A gentle flake dare not caress your feature

Less it be scorned by the heat you protrude.

Your clean clear skin appears so pure

So a slight mark tried so hard to elude.

That walk of slick knowledge catches all eyes

As your hair hides your peeping jewels.

A more appealing walk there never is

As you catch all drooling fools.

Avoid our eyes as you walk your dream

To a room central around you.

Where all but you, the lighting is dim

As so that you are central view.

For there we see ourselves the figure of angelic time

Where wings fly you above all

Leaving us beasts lost and blind

As a lonely, drooling fool.

Surface bearing teaches us how to look

But inside teaches us to feel.

A cavern of a monstrous lick

Shows us the one true deal.

Clean and clear appears outside

But grimy goo slides down inner walls.

The crystal features seem to lie

Teaching us truthful fools.

The show has plans we fools know not

Where matter becomes one for all.

Blinded we head into this rut

And from there we begin to fall.

First we turn from loyal brothers

To turn inside of two

Then we release our earned prizes

So all becomes for you.

Yet you sit above all there

Smiling a bashful pose.

For tireless pleas fall on deaf ear

Turning brothers into foes.

Until the desert around him ices

And modest a life he live.

It is then the monster surfaces

And her own present she give.

A lesson in proof of words of old

That looks live to deceive.

The prophecy come true deems not odd

As with no regret she would leave.

So she struts her slick knowledge walk

To the centre of the hall.

For there she slips a seductive look

So I become her latest fool.
