To all mothers

around the world

in all continents

in all countries

in all cities

of teenage girls

of teenage boys

of newborns, of adults

patience, care, and love

and it is not easy

to raise a child

in this broken world

this non-accepting world that you were placed in

for multiple purposes

one of which was to create a beautiful human

a humane human

one who works hard

one who smiles

one who gets good grades and tries extra ridiculously hard

one who is not violent

a caring one, a kind one, and a thoughtful one

you have done it

you have achieved your goal

you have succeeded
