Life is made up of polarities -

The sun and the moon

Yin and yang

Night and day

Intent and surrender

Shiva and shakti

Light and dark

Expansion and contraction

Stillness and motion

Indulge and refrain

Inward reflection and outward expression

Uprooted and grounded

Sin and salvation

Quiet and chaos...

Life is a constant balancing act,

Moving from one extreme to the next

Finding the sweet spot in the middle,

Resting there,

Making it your home,

Your safe haven,

Only to tip the scales,

To embark again on the journey back to balance.

My quest for balance is one of my favorite paths to walk.
