Time Change

Halloween, I love the scary theme, to decorate with creepy, scary stuff.

I have so much for windows and walls. I have lights and a creepy fog machine

with a hand that moves. I love carving pumpkins, roasting the seeds and

watching scary movies on T.V.

Buying chocolates in hopes it will last, you try so hard not to eat it,

But you know you are bad.

I love dressing up just to hand Candy out,

Scoring extra points because I can creep the kids out.

Now Christmas, I start buying presents almost six/seven months in advance.

I love to see the look on everyone's face when they open and see their gifts.

I love decorating, hanging the lights, the baking cookies and drinking egg nog,

putting up the tree. I feel like a kid again, smiling and giggling with glee,

Our tradition is to open one present on Christmas Eve.

The turkey it's cooking early in the oven, the aroma brings back good feelings

and memories, writing letters to Santa, staying up late with my sister,

Sneaking down stairs to peek under the tree, trying to see if Santa came early.
