We grow

But as time moves

We lose

Connections

With our of self and others

True its a part of growing up.

But it still hurts.

When your connections go from

Hanging every weekend or every other

A streak snapchat,

And then to viewing their stories.

As times moves

Our eyes open, wider and wider, so wide we see too much.

And become distracted and obsessed with

Things that don't matter.

We find ourselves compelled by jealousy and envy

Through social media.

Constantly seeing and liking things we desire.

Its the tunnel vision of both desire and jealousy.

As time moves

We find value.

In ourselves, relationships, and experiences.

We realize what has value to us.

As time moves we share.

Moments, experiences and opinions.

Our minds grow

We see our past present and our future for what it is.

Time is energy and energy is time.

It's important how you use it.

How you see, perceive it.

It's easy to get caught up in cycle

That's how it's wasted.

Whether it be working a job.

Or getting a degree.

It all consumes time.
