Time goes flying by,
first day to graduate,
with no time to think.
Where did all that time go?
I miss it so much.
The freedom it gave me,
I took it for granted,
and wasted my time.
Time goes flying by,
blurred colors flashing away,
speeding back down the tunnel
to a different me in life...
No time to step back,
to take a look at my life.
No time to see my grade
or if I'm doing right.
Once I was so organized,
so look at me now,
rushing from one place to another,
homework undone...
in a hurry down that road...
Don't know where I'm going...
No time to find out...
Time goes flying by,
wings beating quickly,
feathers blurring swiftly,
call fading, faintly ringing...
on the crystal walls of life...
Longing for my childhood,
suddenly I feel so old,
Remembering-
Me and my brother,
chasing each other,
Wishing-
I could go back.
Everything was so easy,
we were so free.
I should have realized-
it was too good to last.
Time goes flying by,
wings beating quickly,
feathers blurring swiftly,
call fading, faintly ringing...
on the crystal walls of life...
Now I'm in a hurry,
don't know where I'm going,
no time to find out.
One second I am laughing,
next minute I am running,
next day I am crying.
Time goes flying by,
wings beating quickly,
feathers blurring swiftly,
call fading...
faintly ringing...
on the crystal walls...
of life...
