Tightly

Quiet Retreat

Hold your hands behind your back

Tightly

Don’t let them get away or they will deceive you

Cut your nails

Put the pills on the bookshelf not the nightstand

Pray no one sees you

Pray no one finds

that the candles have gone out

Hold your hands tightly behind your back

Don’t let them get away

The pills are too far

I am paralyzed

Thank god I have thought ahead

Don’t my brain yells

But what if my body faster is than the precautions that I have set forth

Hold on, you’ll get better

Hold on, it gets better

My physicality disagrees
