Tears, sweet joy

Congratulations,Welcome to the worldA blank slate,A wet face,A world of opportunities awake.

Time is ticking.

Laughing, cryingNothing if not dyingPurpose, maybeNecessity, neverPlaying, slayingAll friends and merry-making.

Time is ticking.Ticking ticking.

People rushing, rushingNever stop for no oneSomewhere to goNowhere to hideSouls all aroundYet loneliness for all

Time is ticking.Ticking tickingTicking ticking.

Singular,Peaceful calmNowhere to beYet everywhere is home.No one is there,Yet you’re surrounded by old friends.

Time is ticking.Ticking tickingTicking tickingTock.

Your clock stops.Breathe in, breathe out.Stop.Lie motionlessYet screamingStop.

Time is ticking.Ticking tickingTicking tickingTock.

Tick.

Time stopsFor no one.

Time is relative,Definitive, certainIt is people that travel through timeFaster or slower than others.

Tock.
