Has your stomach ever tightened up,
your heart ever sank to the pit of your stomach,
head get lightheaded,
knees go weak,
Have you ever felt so numb you can only feel physically?
All emotions are gone,
no grief, no guilt, No nothing.
Do you know what it even means,
to hurt so much you can only feel it's physical impact on your own shelter,
this place you call home shutting in on itself,
eyes so full of tears that there is an ocean in your eyes?
The sting that comes from the heart,
so strong it makes us physically weak,
Why do we hurt so easily?
Is this all a test of our emotional stability,
the strongness of not only our body but our mind?
You decide.
