The wind blows softly through the open window

The breeze caresses against the curtains lightly

The serenity of the motions compel me

I feel the light air on my skin

The breeze gently sends chills down my spine

My hair wisps freely as the wind picks up outside

I see the trees swaying, they look like they are dancing

The sky that once was blue is starting to turn grey

I hear the soft sound of the rain gently fall upon the ground

I close my window to the outside world

I press my face against the cold of the window pane

I see such beauty in nature

I watch as the rain slowly makes its way down to the ground

The clouds begin to part slowly, and I can see the light rays of the sun

In the dark of the sky, there is now sunlight, and a rainbow begins to form

I look up at the sky and smile

The rainbow is now shining bright

And it reminds me of God's promise

The rain begins to lighten slowly

And I open up my window once again

I feel the wind lightly caress my face

I feel at peace, I feel strong, and I feel powerful

I am like the storm

My thoughts are at one with the rain and wind

The gentle roar of the thunder I hear,

Reminds me that life is never certain

But I know that in the end, I will have made it.
