Those Days

A Nostalgic Poem to Remind Us of the Good Ole Days

Remember the days

Swing sets were rocket ships

And space wasn't so far away

50 cent juices and honey buns

Moms and dads were our number one

School was our playground

Pat of our feet on pavement was our favorite sound

Slides were better than car rides

Looney tunes and cartoons ended too soon

Laugh and sing, that was our thing

Barney was our childhood idol

90s was all that, Hey Arnold

A time when gravity didn't exist

We were all geniuses and rocket scientist

Time so frivolous, dreams so obvious

Remember these days

Swing sets were rocket ships

And space wasn't so far away

Childhood is precious

So let's not forget it

Because when we sit beside our children and grandchildren

We give them a childhood worth never forgetting
