This World

A Poem

"In this world we live where people give and take

The real outlast the fake, and constantly cross paths with snakes

You can tell a lot about a person by the look in their eyes

You'll learn stories, pain, and desire deep inside.

Men and women walk this earth hand in hand, side by side

Heaven or hell is what you might face when the borderline called love is in place

A man who laughs and smiles while in your presences sees what gifts you hold

A women who's been hurt in your presence will take your laughs and smiles as a joke

They will be looked at as ignoring pokes

This life we live was never guaranteed to be easy and fair

But pain, love, and hope is what we all share

Man? And Woman?

MAN....Must Act Now

WOMAN....Who's Overmen Must Act Now

Kings lead by example

A Queens follows up

One needs the other, but one does not

A queen can lead and stand tall alone

A king relies on his queen to maintain the throne

When great kings fall is it not the queen that dethrones?

I'm a king that leads by example, but no one to maintain the throne

You can be the queen that I could give the power to dethrone"
