This Feeling...

I had found this feeling...

This feeling I had never once felt before.

You had given it to me so easily...

It was all new to me, I enjoyed it...

It made me think I could achieve anything.

I wondered how you could've given this power to me,

and of all people...

why me?

I thought I'd have this newfound feeling forever...

and it would be something I would never lose, but...

I guess I was wrong.

Slowly, little by little and piece by piece...

The one who had given it to me, began to take it away...

Just as easily as you brought it to me.

That feeling...

I am sad to say is all gone...

I have nothing more for you, not even a crumb of what you once gave me.

Although, for some reason...

that doesn't stop you.

You still continue...

taking and taking...

all my strengths and even my weaknesses...

Now your gone...

I'm left here hollow...

Hollow, empty, nothing...

Another feeling I'd never once felt before.

Although, this feeling wasn't something I enjoyed.

It wasn't something I welcomed.

Now I'm drained, and need to find something...
