They See Her Not

They see her not the one responsible for the first children,

the mother of all the living.

Long-forgotten is the Lady of the Lake,

Meera de dos.

Some still search for her,

but alas they are few on the ground in these latter days.

Many even claim we came from comets,

micro-organisms,

fish,

lizards,

lizard-birds and then apes,

but even all the above know this didn't happen.

We all came from a human mother,

be you great or small,

which is without dispute,

for all of us came from a mother right back to Eternity,

we just forget our origins.

They do not see her,

the mother from whence we all once came.
