These Tears

You were never there for me when I needed you.

You made me stand tall on my own.

There was something about the way you made me cry.

That gave me a feeling of wanting to be close to you .

I knew you were toxic but that never got through.

Given a heart so dull, you left me to die all alone.

Are the tears that form in my eyes even real?

You've made me wish I couldn't feel.

I am broken.

Are you blind can you not see?

This is your fault.

Look what you have done to me.

You make me feel as if contradiction is the way to go.

I left today but I know I'll be back tomorrow.

I guess I can't get enough of the way you bring these tears down my face.

And make me feel like I am enough yet again.
