Gone Too Soon

The Wrong Guy

The moment I saw you, that was it.

I looked into your eyes and seen a bunch of shit.

My heart was saying, "go for it".

My brain was being the dick.

You led me on hundreds of times.

Crying tears every night.

I blamed myself and everything I put into us.

But you never realized how much pain you put me through.

I broke, I fell apart, everything became numb.

Even my heart.

I searched days at a time for you.

Just to hear that last, "I love you".

That was my miracle that I was waiting for.

But as life goes, that was only something I would have hoped for.

I see you in class and sometimes in the halls.

I wish one day, you would just call.

I told you I loved you, I didn't try to hide.

But I suppose when you said those words, it was just a lie.

I love you...
