The Wooden Chest
You know that you're not in the way.
When I leave you on the wooden chest,
that holds all of your things,
I know that you don't mind.
You know that your not in the way.
I think your just glad I had the strength to
leave the house without you that day.
That's not often though,
as I need you by my side,
to pursue all of my dreams,
and bind up all my ties.
You know that your not in the way.
I just really needed you with me,
when I left the house that day.
When I do leave you on this chest,
It is always for good reasons.
You'll be safe when I return,
Captivated in my home.
You know that your not in the way.
I just needed you to be there,
When I returned home that day.
