The Withered and The Loved
A Poem About Heartbreak

Lost in the dark, withered eyes simply stare.
Wasted love loss, breaks like glass beneath your touch.
And the rain drops dry, like fiction tears - a waste of words.
And beyond the regrets, their sacrifice relapse
Into the love; loss void.
A twist of soft words, fall hard on the empty brick floor.
Of all the lost, we are the withered and the loved.
The lonely and the dull.
Make us waste away forever.
Entangle our fingers into something more.
We are the withered and the loved.
And we are a kind of silence.
