The Witching Hour

Halloween Edition

Drop the Veil

Hallows Eve is lurking very near

Gruesome stories filled with gory

Are told as the day gets here

The veil drops on Halloween

A day filled with power, magic, and dreams

It’s nights like this that get kind of spooky

When it gets dark..Things whisper to me

The screeching screams I hear

Inside my ears

Are telling me there’s something here

As my pendulum sways

My heart begins to race

The candle flame fades

In the dim light.. I see a face

My visions are becoming clear

Of a burning fire

Souls filled with fear

Witches pinned to a stake

It was casted by the liars

Who only believe the fake

Many centuries ago

They would’ve burned me long and slow

So my magic wouldn’t grow

And my soul could no longer flow.

In this witching hour

I lay down all my flowers

To those who lost their powers
