The Witch in the Woods

How She Sees the Trees

How she sees the trees

Depends on her mood

Depends on her intention

Depends on which crystal

She's stuffed down her bra today

Depends on the sun's position

And the moon's phase

And whether or not Mercury

Is in retrograde

But today she sees the trees

In all the colours of the rainbow

In glowing mandalas

Emitting beautiful light

And faint, otherworldly music

She sees the fair folk

Dancing among the branches

Spinning the mandalas

Among the leaves

Changing the seasons

Subtly

From winter to spring

Today she sees harmony

And beauty

And creative meditation

Springing from the earth itself

Growing with the tree trunk

Hoping all the creatures who live here

Might emulate its example

She sees the earth as sentient

Living and breathing

Alive

Our Mother

Reaching out for us

Both to sustain us

And to seek aid

As she ails

The witch in the woods

Closes her eyes

Holds her purple amethyst

Tightly

With conviction

She whispers a prayer to the wind

And wishes the deepest wish of her heart

That all the world

Could see too

About the Creator

A. R. Ambrosi

I like to write, if that makes me a writer, then rock on!

I started writing as a child because I ran out of stuff to read. So, I only write stuff that I like. If you like it too, awesome! Enjoy! ^_^
