A Poem About Heartbreak

You ignited my heart then left it to burn.

You started this fire now you refuse to put out these flames.

They're engulfing my life.

They're engulfing my loved ones.

My friends and family are scarred remains.

They're engulfing me.

No one comes near me now, in fear they will get burned.

I can't touch anyone the way I touched you.

I hurt them because I am so hurt.

The revenge feels needed but it isn't wanted.

What have you done to me?

Why won't you help me?

How many people will get burned?

How many people will you burn?
