THE WAY THINGS WERE
I miss the way that things were
When I was brave enough to dare
and miss the sweetness of your kiss
Is amongst the things that I most miss.
If I could do it all again
And save us both from this pain
I’d probably still get lost in you
Caught up in the things you do
I’d dream of it being right
And a happy ending being in sight.
And if my sweetest dream could come true
I’d spend ever after, here with you.
