The Warmth of Your Smile

A Poem

Our idiosyncrasies are not one in the same, yet understandable.

Trust in those who adore you, The Quintessential Gentleman.

Captivated by you in full bloom, an amalgamation of sweet soul and playboy are emitted by your presence.

Past disappointments at rest, be wise unto the next as ambition sets in at the sight of you.

First time I set eyes on you, hoping you would look my way. Something I would never do, lead you astray.

Get yourself past the hurt. Let me take care of you. Make you feel my love.

Kneading together, let our collaboration rise. Bake in the glory, let it be our surprise.

With all this said, I begin not to love you. For fear over shadows my view.

Asleep, I tend to dream of you. Teach me how to tend your needs. Let me spoil you.
