The Unheard
Think twice before you ignore them.
I watch the world around me,
See people trapped in their heads;
I sit invisible in the rush,
A lonely soul.
A man with many logos walks by,
“Do you have any spare change sir?”
He doesn’t stop walking,
He doesn’t even look at me.
I have made mistakes.
I have many regrets.
I have love in my heart.
Are you any different?
