The Truth About You

A Poem About Narcissistic Relationships

I wish I had seen what you really were

All covered up hidden masked wolf hidden in sheep's fur.

Was it all a lie? I could have never guessed you had me blind and in love. A naive mess.

I fell for it all, I passed the test.

You used me all up and left me for dead. I only can remeber all those memories taking space in my head.

I felt numb and drained, but then I learned your real name.

FAKE

The truth is you were not real. I was fooled by what you made me feel.

It was all bitter and nothing sweet.

You use and use and discard when you're done, tossed in the trash like rotting meat.

I know that you are sick and deep down so unreachable. You lie and you hurt cause of how you cant feel.

I know now it was never real.
