Before it blossoms, here are the rules...

Don't tell me what love is supposed to be, because darling I know exactly what love truly means.

Love is not deceitful// Honesty should be present because neither of us are fools.

Love is not quiet// It should glow and be loud in every room with you.

Love is not embarrassing// It must be respectful and live up to a standard that is mindful of you.

Love is not perfect// Our imperfections should infuse together to create a bond that's true.

Love is not toxic// If I'm strung out, I surely need to run from you.

Love is limitless// Because our love should expand beyond space and time.

Love is powerful// Not even you or I could destroy its bountiful seed.

It is like the Sun meeting the Earth, beaming with dignity and grace. Full of rich color, sharp, deep and arrayed.

It has a relentless pursuit and watches its tongue. It calms the fight, and eliminates the storms. It has to be nurtured and trusted. It cannot be mismanaged nor fumbled.

Your love, his love, her love is valuable.

It is sacrificial, it is true and lives beautifully inside me and you.

This is what love is, boo.
