Taking the train home…

A simple task for so many…

But how far we all roam.

And its costs? Are there any…

Not monetary costs but that of the soul…

where are we going…

will we return whole…

where have we been it's so hard not knowing?

to get on and off at a stop of choice…

why oh why do we watch time pass…

silencing our chance to for a voice…

bowing to society such a pain in the ass.

Each journey take lead us further away…

Leading us to the chances unique as a thought.

Expectations for this chance may lead us astray

away from the chances that may leave us distraught…

The track we walk is simple but thin...

the changes we make define us, and the outcome of life.

whether we lose, or we win...

tells us informs us… on the edge of a knife…

That knife determines our fate for that day

a day full of darkness that crouches low…

and drag us away like some kind of pray…

or a day full of light through us will flow…

A day full of hope, positive energy and joy?

out thoughts use as bodies as puppets to plan…

to them we are just a fun you…

Does this journey define who I am?

we start each day at the rise of the sun…

and return again as mother earth

reclaims it and grants us the moon…

The start of our day looks fresh and fun…

the end is a culmination of a day over to soon.
