The Strength in Me

Indeed, I am much stronger, than you think

I have fought through many things the average human never thinks about

I don't have the scars to prove it

But my words speak volumes in which you've never heard

My wisdom, my experience, my voice proves it all

I have fought against demons, devils, and against myself

I know every feeling there is when you watch your world crumble

But I also know how to get up on my own two feet

I know how to destroy someone with my own two hands but I choose to be bright instead

I can cross over oceans, only if I feel necessary

My demons continue to torture me and I can't help but think back at what they've done

And yes, I breakdown too

But second after second I fight

I've seen others give up into the arms of demons and I've thought about it myself but,

Now I know, I'm stronger than you think
