Daughter got a man,

Man got a wife,

Wife goes a cheating,

A drinking on a Saturday night,

Give me my spoon,

My silver spoon,

And my whetting stone,

Drinkin’ on a Saturday night,

Wakin’ up on a Sunday Afternoon,

Not giving a poo,

Don’t cry the blues,

I will be there for you.

Trees are a singin’

Half past noon,

Wind is a telling,

A liar’s tale,

A giving up the truth,

Men are boys,

Women have their knights,

In their rusted armour,

Drinkin’ on a Tuesday,

Wakin’ up on a Sunday afternoon,

Not giving a poo,

Give me my spoon,

My silver spoon,

And my whetting stone,

Don’t you cry,

Baby,

Don’t you cry,

I will be there for you.

Good night,

Good night,

See the stars above us,

And remember where we are,

I’m in love with you!

About the Creator

Jason Giecek

A poet who cannot rhyme, a dreamer who dreams in reality, realist who gave up realism last week as part of his plea agreement. The courts got nothing!! Nothing!
