Our tears on each other’s face,

The smell on the nape of our neck,

The chills in our spine,

Under the same roof,

Blanket of stars,

Thick bed of sky,

That night

Had a lot more.

We shared the warmth,

Skin, flesh and

TOUCH

We shared the strength,

Laughter, joy and

INTIMACY

We shared the memories,

Past, future and

TOGETHERNESS

We shared the weakness,

Loss, sadness and

PROMISES

They are all now broken;

Just like that night broke into

Bright daylight,

Which we weren’t prepared for!
