The Seasons

I hear it the wishes flailing to reach the stars instead like the leaves of fall they can only go down

As I step "crunch... crunch" the hopes of others crushed to pieces like the leafs of fall "crunch.... crunch"

The chilling wind blows past with the dreams of others they swirl and do loop-the-loops

No matter how hard I try I can't stop the end of fall or the beginning of winter I can't stop the seasons

Things will change they always will The leaves will fall

The wind will blow

The season will change

And I think I will too
