The Science of Gravity

A Poem

“The world is flat”, historians once said

“Don't go too far, you'll fall off the edge!”

“It's a long way down, that instant drop”

“And once you fall, you'll never stop”

The world is round, they've now discovered

Along with many things, left uncovered

Though gravity is present and holds you down

You still may fall and hit the ground

Though the ground may catch you, and cease your drop

It still may seem, that it never stops

Eventually, one day, you'll be in the right place

At the right time, seeing the right face

Gravity works for all the good

It's time to start falling, to be understood

The Earth is definitely round, after all

Why not let gravity help cease your fall?
