She had the potential of going to Harvard, and he had a dream to play for the NBA. Together they were invincible, until that one day.

One bullet took those chances away.

One bullet left families overloaded with guilt.

One bullet shoved PTSD down a High Schooler's throat.

One bullet made education a danger.

One bul-

When will it end?

So many lives, with so many goals, and so many ambitions.

All taken away with the shot of a gun.

They lye peacefully, as blood pours from their chests.

The blood of an astronomer, or even a doctor

Now on the hard tile drying by the minute.

Their futures have vanished,

but their remembrances will stay forever.

For those who lost loved ones from school shootings.
