The Revolution's Blood

Pain of Syria

All this chaos around me,

all this pain astounds me.

We cry for this girl, that boy... our phones,

even though there's kids around the world,

who have no food, no water, no homes.

We wake up comfy in our beds,

While they wake up to see their parents dead.

Afghanistan, Iraq... Libya,

when will this Zionism end?

Over 12,000 bombs dropped in Syria.

No end to this genocide,

Imagine...

if you had to watch your mother die?

That's what they do, without a choice in their hands,

How would you feel...

if someone was to attack your motherland?

To the children of Syria, please forgive us,

for it's not our fingers

which pulled the triggers,

nor the seals of our signatures,

but it is our egocentric ways,

allowing your homeland to be ablaze.

What if it was your sister, crying, scared alone...

What if it was your brother, left with no family or no home?

We 're-post' a picture, and think 'I've done my part'...

But their lives and their family's are still falling apart.

Our cries, and our sympathy will never compare,

to their torment, grief, loss, and despair.

Someone, somewhere is going...

Without anyone even knowing...

They cry in the rivers of their family's blood,

I guess we can call this the revolution's flood.

Please forgive us, the people of Libya and Afghanistan,

for your children's lives ended,

before they even began.

Please forgive us, the people of Iraq and Iran...

for the seal of your fates, it's not in our hands.

We love you, we will pray for you,

and do all that we can...

Please everybody, against this inhumanity...

let's take a stand!
