The Race

A Poem

There once was a man,

Who just like you - had no plan.

Stuck in a place, just like an endless race...

Boundless opportunities, yet no path.

What is he to feel but confusion and wrath?

With so many desires, how does one find the fire?

The perfect fit... A job that strikes your creativity, and uses your wit.

Truth be told, no one happens to know...

But the man can look within.

Through the good times, the trials, and even the sins.

To really pick a place...

Where he feels he's winning The Race.
