The Plane

Attention all passengers, this flight is about to take off

Heart, Brain, Lungs, hold on to yourself as we go up

And so the planes lifts up to the sky

Enjoying the free gift of air and beauty of cloud formation

No worries, no stress, everything just...near perfect

Radio waves becomes sound waves as I hear a voice

A place to finally land the plane that has be flying for hours

Out of gas, out of fuel, out of every necessary substance

Green light given, time to land

Tyres are out, seat belts clipped

But just at the final minutes, red flags are raised

An emergency lift off as I am denied the opportunity to land

What just happened? What could be the problem?

Heart calling command centre, what is the problem?

Radio replies quite strangely,

Your plane is quite new

No experience whatsoever, it is true

Too new to understand the ground at which our airport needs repair

My pilot just had an attack

Out of fuel, Out of gas and now, out of pilot

But I could last, probably more than I thought

A change is direction. a lift in altitude

Enjoying the flight while it could last, was the new attitude

Just when I thought nothing could go right

Cupid, through his electrical conductivity, triggers the connectivity of another airport

On his birthday when he gives out free gifts

Another airport grants me permission to land

My pilot gives it a try and the plane lands

With the most warm welcome an airport could ever give

1st class hotel reception, pilot eating to its fullest

Engine refuelled but not to take off ever again

Who says it is a bad thing after all?

As this airport is the perfect place, where this plane definitely belongs.

Close the runway.
