The darkness creeps just below the skin

All the happiness you see fades

do not look but simply see
in the pain of letting go.
All this pain must purely be
in the pain of letting go.
One day the sun may shine
In the pain of letting go.
One day it may not be so gray
In the pain of letting go.
Until that day I lay
In the pain of letting go.
