The Poem of a Sick Girl

SHE will always be a FLOWER.

The One You Are

I came into the world not knowing of you

You watched me grow

Up... Up... Up...

Bolder... Stronger... Smarter

You sat on the stoop

Waiting for me

Not knowing how to get me

A little girl playing in her yard

Innocent... Happy... Longing

You watched her

You waited for the right moment

You were always there

Always watching

You were invisible to her

And that angered you

But then the day came

The day the little bud became a flower

Oh how pretty the flower was

How much joy came from the flower

And you wanted that

You came quick

You came quietly

Unstoppable... indestructible

After all the waiting

NO MORE

No more hiding in the shadows

No more impersonating other evils

The time was now

The flower began to change

Filling with all the evil you possessed

What was once you were now her

Life itself changed that day

The little flower became a lady

A lady scared

Hurt... Betrayed... Broken

And forever empty

Nothing could change what evil had already made a home

Darkness was here to stay

No great medicine, potion or herb could put an end to this madness

No mere item could fill this empty corpse

But be very careful with your actions

With the slightest wind fire would erupt from her skin

Hate filled her eyes

Not for others but for herself

Evil itself dared to change what it had created

She knew she was different

Alone... Evil

She knew evil was inside her

It would forever be there

The time to accept her fate was near

No more cover-ups

No more smoke and mirrors

It was time to embrace what she was

Alien? Monster? Human?

No... no... no... no...

She was HER
