The Not So Sticky Glue

When You Can't Hold It Together Anymore

I'm the glue that holds people together, but now I've lost my stick,

And now no one wants me because I've turned to ick.

What I used to do so well I can no longer do,

Because all I've become is a tube of gummy worn out glue.

I've put hearts back in place, and souls back together,

But once I fixed someone they no longer meant forever.

Now that I've lost my stick, and I no longer work,

No one wants to patch me, be my glue and fix my hurt.

So while everyone is happy glitter, and not a care in the world,

I'm left behind, the un-sticky glue, and the very lonely girl.
