The Next Step

This day was unsuccessful.

Sebastian knew that his attempts at writing would be flawed.

He never thought it would have been this bad though.

The writer’s block seems to be never-ending.

So he created a world amongst all the others.

One that he didn’t realize would stand out.

It’s not like The Matrix, or an unrealistic sci-fi Avatar type of world.

But one where he is able to wander without limitations.

Nothing sinister, nothing illegal, but everything curious.

Somewhere he can be anything he wants to be.

Who would this be?

He’s far from sure but he knows this land.

It is the most beautiful creation he will ever have.

But will he share with the world this new land?

For now, he will be the ruler, the wanderer, and the jester of this land.

He will keep it his own and with his pencil sketching,

The words he spoke out loud came to life with each stroke of a larger picture.

Sebastian knew it would be a long day.

A day that he may have just wasted but that cannot be true, can it?

Sebastian knew his day would turn out unsuccessful,

But he saw there was something new.

Sebastian sneered at the idea that it was quite the opposite.
