The Moon

A Poem

Her skin pale, her mood swings the ocean, waves kiss the shore gently, as she hides her face, shy, she watches on. When full her beauty glows on us, giving me hope, howling... sing her a song of grace an offering to her, may I get blessed. I may have many wishes, but my only one is to love and be loved in return, with that I would do anything and everything for that person. Turns out I'm still waiting, my hope has slowly faded, its been years since that wish... angered, sadden, and broken, blinded my mind. Yet my heart still could see, see my future, it kept life going. The moon shines my path, God has a plan... I was put here for you... you see me as human. Not a pet, or what people see me as a dog or wolf. What do you see? Am I just a monster? Do you hate what I am? Why is it me? Why do I have to be so different?
