The Man of the Mirage

In the Dry Desert Sun

He stood there

In the road,

Black pavement he

Seemingly floated over

Radiating heat

In the dry desert sun.

He stood at

The front of

The car, which I

Had stopped, because he came from

The thin air

In the dry desert sun.

I thought that

I saw his

Beautiful blue

Eyes staring at me staring

At him there

In the dry desert sun.

But then he

Disappeared,

And oh how

I longed to see him again,

The mirage

In the dry desert sun.

The man of the mirage

In the dry desert sun.
