The Man in the Room

At night, fear comes to life.

Ever have that feeling where your being watched?

Yet your alone in your room

Laying down in complete darkness

Your facing the wall away from the door

Eyes shutting as sleep awaits

Until you get a feeling

A bad one

Your eyes open in an instant

Feeling as if someone is hovering over you

Yet you know your alone in the room

Never heard the door open

So you pull the covers higher not wanting to move

Yet the feeling doesn't go away

Fear rushing in your body

The area around you is ice cold

Wanting to leave the room and just get away

Sitting up in bed turning to face the door

When you see it

A human figure looking right back at you

The arm extends lifting its finger up to its mouth

Making a motion to be quite

Moving closer to the bed

As fast as you sat up you go back down on the bed

Not able to scream out

Pulling the covers up and just laying in bed

Then when morning comes you wish it to all have been a horrible dream

Yet as you get off the bed seeing something move in the closet

fear hits once more
