The Love Once Shared

Will you stay if I say I love you.

By my side we can start a new.

We were one before this started.

Now you leave me broken hearted.

What can I do to make you see.

You will always be a part of me.

The heart we shared feels now shattered.

As I lie here broken and tattered.

Torn inside trying to mend.

Still with you my love I send.

The strength will come in time I swear.
