The Lost Ones

Numb

We dream of floating on a glimmering lake under the brilliant blue sky. Hearts humming in our chests, we feel the icy water caress our bodies. The silence engulfs our soul, nurturing it to become whole.

We feel the energy in our core, it radiates through our body, bringing us closer, closer. It's a beautiful thread of gold, grounding us to the earth and to each other, it is us and we are it, connected in dreams. Life eternal.

We float for a while, but never long enough, sadness creeps; closer, closer.

The edges are becoming blurred, a single tear escapes from our eye, we can't focus, we can't feel, numbness ensues and the cold bleak reality sets in...

I am awake, I try to remember my dream but it seeps from my memory, too soon.

I am alone.

I am numb.

I love nature, I love colour and anything visual. I love the smell of the grass after a rainfall.
