The Last Blockbuster

A Poem

I don't want to hear it anymore.

Crying over nostalgia but when's the last time you were in my store?

When's the last time you RENTED Good Will Hunting-

instead of checking Netflix while eating and grunting?

Don't cry over me, your tears are fake.

Digital movies were just the icing on the cake.

Now you never have to leave your home.

Don't worry about me, I'll just die alone.

No, stop it, you know exactly what you did.

You're not sorry, you just miss being a kid.

It's not just me, you did this with Toys-R-Us.

Boo-hoo oh what? Can't buy toys, now you're throwing a fuss?

Bitch! Last time I checked you're not a Toys-R-Us kid anymore.

You play on your phone if you even come in our store.

Look...it's not all your fault.

We didn't adapt to the times and deserve to go in the vault.

So maybe we can both share the blame

Now I need to say goodbye before getting on the plane.

We appreciate you all, we mean that from our hearts.

Now for old times sake, grab Blade Runner and some SweetTarts.
